If you've never strolled down Broadway Street in Nashville, you're missing out! It's the perfect spot for some serious people-watching, honky-tonk hopping, and maybe even spotting a celebrity-owned joint or two.

Our first stop? The Twelve/Thirty Club, owned by none other than Justin Timberlake himself. With four different venues under one roof – Supper Club, Rooftop, Honky Tonk, and a private Honorary Member area – we were spoiled for choice. We kicked things off with drinks and appetizers on the Rooftop, soaking in the views and live music while eagerly awaiting our reservation at the Supper Club. Let me tell you, the drinks, the food, the vibes – all top-notch!

Now, for dessert, we couldn't resist checking out Garth Brooks’ Friends in Low Places Bar and Honky Tonk. I had been glued to the Prime Video series documenting its renovation, so we had high hopes. Unfortunately, G&T's Wedding Cake was a no-go (sold out, go figure), but the Carmel Bottom Apple Pie sounded promising. Spoiler alert: served in a cold iron skillet, it was more disappointing than a cancelled encore. Guess they're still working out the kinks!

Next up, Cooter's – a must for any Dukes of Hazard fan. This museum is a treasure trove of memorabilia, including the iconic General Lee and Dixie's Jeep. And the best part? Admission is FREE!

Of course, no trip to Nashville is complete without catching a show at the Grand Ole Opry. While the lineup didn't feature any big names we recognized, we were pleasantly surprised by the talent on display. From bluegrass bands to comedians, it was a night to remember.

And let me tell you about the backstage tour – worth every penny! We explored several of the 18 unique dressing rooms, learned the theater's fascinating history, and even got to stand center stage in the legendary 6ft circle of oak floorboards. Talk about stepping into country music history!

As for accommodations, we opted for Two Rivers Campground – conveniently located near downtown and budget-friendly to boot. They even threw in a packet of tourist info and discounts to sweeten the deal. And while the shuttle to downtown sounded tempting, we had sights to see and honky-tonks to conquer!

And there you have it – our Nashville adventure in a nutshell. From celebrity-owned hotspots to backstage tours at the Grand Ole Opry, it was a trip we won't soon forget.

Until next time, keep spinning the wheel of adventure!

Happy RVing!
